I can't download/find my certificate

Here are the most common ways to find a downloaded PDF (or any file) on a mobile device. Pick your device type for step-by-step instructions:

If you’re using Android (Samsung, Pixel, etc.)

1. Check the Files or My Files app

  1. Open FilesFile Manager, or My Files (varies by device).
  2. Tap Downloads or Download.

2. Check your browser’s download list

  • Chrome: Chrome → (…) Menu → Downloads
  • Samsung Internet: Menu → Downloads
  • Firefox: Menu → Downloads

3. Search your phone

  1. Open device Search (swipe up/down depending on device).
  2. Type the file name or “pdf”.
  3. Results often show exact folder location.

4. If the file never saved (only opened)

Some apps preview the PDF instead of saving it.

  • Look for a Download or Save icon in the viewer.
  • Or tap the three dots (…) → Download or Save to device.

If you’re using an iPhone / iPad (iOS)

1. Check the Files app

  1. Open Files (white icon with a blue folder).
  2. Tap Browse (bottom-right).
  3. Tap On My iPhone or iCloud Drive.
  4. Look in the Downloads folder.

2. Check your browser’s download location

  • Safari: Files → Downloads folder
  • Chrome: Chrome app → (…) Menu → Downloads
  1. Swipe down on the Home Screen.
  2. Type part of the filename or simply “pdf” or “downloads”.
  3. Look for results under the Files category.

4. If the file opened instead of downloading

Sometimes PDFs open in Safari instead of saving.

Tap the Share icon → Save to Files → pick a folder.
